While Aigis starts as a stereotypical, unemotional robot, she slowly grows past that through the story, to the point where she develops her own personality, consciousness and feelings, and even manages to fight off reprogramming. She has a strong drive to understand life, and feelings, and through doing so become closer to a living being rather then 'just a machine'. This expresses itself in curiosity, as she is eager to learn, although she tends to misunderstand a lot when it comes to culture and appropriate behaviours. In trying to use common sayings, she often produces malapropos phrases, or takes things far too literally, such as very sincerely and asking if someone with a fluctuating heart rate is about to "die of shame". Although she has learnt a lot, she still can react inappropriately to new situations and she takes her determination to completing missions to non-combat life, treating things very seriously, even those that really shouldn't be taken so seriously. She can be very naive, as well.

She tends to fall into existential angst when it comes to her own nature, getting frustrated or upset when she misunderstands human feelings or misjudges situations, and she is slightly lonely, been the last survivor of all the anti-shadow weapons. However, due to contact with the protagonist and making friends with the rest of the team, she does acknowledge she has found a purpose beyond just eliminating shadows like a mindless drone, a purpose she has chosen for herself. And she is very determined about her purpose, and her own desires, declaring that she will never give up even when she can clearly calculate the unassailable odds. After all, "that is my own decision!"

She wants to help people, enthusiastically offering her help to old ladies, going to find cats, etc, and she can be surprisingly kind, spontaneously declaring that someone isn't alone to try and cheer them up.

A major aspect of Aigis' personality is her desire to be by the side of, and protect, the main character. She is driven to do so, causing her to do things like break into his room and watch him sleeping, and generally just stalk him. At first, this was a mysterious impulse she could not explain due to damage to her memory, but the true reason was revealed to be guilt over having done something to him in his childhood. After she regains all her memory, she protects him out of her own feelings.

Strengths:
She has a lot of defense and strength, and high agility and general, all round toughness. She fires bullets from her fingertips like a machine gun. She also possesses 'Orgia mode', which increases all her capabilities immensely at the risk of overheating after a bit. She has a lot of fight experience, and is good at it, as she is a humanoid tactical weapon. She has fairly good sensors, able to pick up on heart rate, temperature, and other vital signs. She speaks fluent animal, often conversing and translating for the team's dog. Personality wise, she's got a lot of determination, and a strong drive.

She also possesses a persona, with supernatural powers as follows:

- Dekunda (Removes -nda effects, basically cancels out all stat lowering effects)
- Masukukaja (Boost agility of all allies for three turns, everyone gets faster)
- Marakukaja (Heightens all allies' defense for 3 turns, self-explanatory)
- Diarahan (Full heal, rids all wounds but not status effects)
- Matarukaja (Heightens all allies' attack for 3 turns, everyone gets stronger)
- Samarecarm (Revives an unconscious person and heals them slightly)
- Akasha Arts Hits (1-2 times for a large amount of Strike damage with each hit.)
- God's Hand (Inflicts severe physical damage upon one enemy.)

Weaknesses:
Aigis has a weakness to strong electric currents, powerful electric attacks will stun her. She occasionally falls into existential angst over the fact she is a machine, not a 'living' person and while she is mostly over that, she does get upset when she feels she isn't understanding human feelings. There are large gaps in her knowledge of culture and appropriate behaviour. She also has a slight obsession with been a bodyguard, and gets quite upset if she thinks she is failing in that regard.
